Steps of cooking
- Add washed yellow split lentil, Mehran Garlic & Ginger Paste, 1 sliced onion and Mehran Shami Kabab Masala to the minced meat with 5 glasses of water. Cover and cook on low heat for about an hour until meat becomes tender.
- Increase heat and dry the mixture until 1/2 cup liquid remains in the pot.
- Grind the meat mixture into coarse and smooth paste, add 1 chopped onion, green chilli, mint, green coriander and whisked eggs. Knead well and make 25 at kababs.
- Heat 1/2 cup oil/ghee and shallow/deep fry the kababs on medium heat from both sides until they become brown.
