Palak Gosht Masala


“Salt, Red Chilli, Coriander, Cumin, Garlic, Turmeric, Ginger, Mango Powder, Big Cardamom, Acid (Citric Acid), Fenugreek, Bay Leaves, Black Pepper, Cinnamon, Clove”

Serving Suggestion

“Serve with naan, chapati or plain boiled rice. Serving for 7 – 8 people. (1 packet 50g)”

Preparation Time

45 minutes for chicken, 1-11/2 hours for beef/mutton.

Steps of cooking

  1. Boil chopped spinach for 5 minutes, grind coarsely and keep aside.
  2. Heat oil/ghee, fry onions until they turn light golden. Then add meat, Mehran Ginger & Garlic Paste, fry well for 5 minutes. Now add tomatoes and Mehran Palak Gosht Masala, fry for further 2 – 3 minutes. Then add 1 cup of water, cover and cook on low heat until meat becomes tender. (For Beef/Mutton add 4 – 5 cups of water).
  3. Add yogurt, fry well until oil separates. Then add spinach, fenugreek leaves and green chilli. Cover and cook for 10 – 15 minutes on low heat. Now add milk, mix well and cook for 2 – 3 minutes then remove.
