STEPS OF COOKING
- Take a bowl, add Meat, Mehran Ginger & Garlic Paste and Mehran Kabsa Masala. Mix well and marinate it for 1 hour.
- Heat oil, add marinated meat, and fry it for 5 minutes. Add 4 – 5 glasses of water. Cover and cook on low heat until the meat becomes tender. (For chicken 4 – 5 glasses, for beef/mutton 8 – 9 glasses).
- When 3 glasses of stock remain, take out the meat and keep aside. Now add rice in the same stock and cook it for 5 minutes on high heat then lower the heat cover it and further cook it for 10 minutes. Now put the cooked meat to the kabsa rice.
- Separately, take a pan, heat 1 tbsp of oil, add above mentioned dry fruits and sauté it for 2 – 3 minutes. Spread it on to the kabsa rice. Cover and cook on low heat for 10 – 15 minutes until rice is done.
