Fish Masala

Ingredients

Salt, Red Chilli, Mango Powder, Carom, Cumin, Turmeric, Coriander, Mustard Seed, Garlic, Acid (Citric Acid), Paprika, Fenugreek, Caraway, Acidity Regulator (Tartaric Acid), Clove, Bay Leaves, Black Pepper, Black Cardamom, Green Cardamom, Cinnamon, Ginger.

Allergen Advice: Contain Mustard.

Ingredients Required

Typical Values Per 100g
Fish 1½ kg (Cleaned and Washed)
Garlic 2 tbsp (Finely Chopped)
Gram Flour (Basin) 2 tbsp
Lemon Juice/ Vinegar 3 – 4 tbsp
Oil / Ghee 2 – 3 cups / 400g – 600g
Mehran Fish Masala 5 tbsp / 50g

Steps of Cooking

  1. In a bowl, add lemon juice/vinegar, garlic, 1 tbsp oil/ghee, gram flour and Mehran Fish Masala. Mix well and apply the mixture on fish and marinate for 30 minutes.
  2. Heat oil and fry fish on medium heat until it becomes brown from both sides.

*    Squeeze lemon juice and sprinkle Mehran Chaat Masala.

Serving suggestion

Serve with fresh salad, Mehran Chutney/Sauce.

Serving for 6 – 8 people. (5 tbsp / 50g)
