Fish Biryani Masala Export

Ingredient

STEPS OF COOKING

  1. Marinate the fish with 2 tbsp lemon juice, 1 tsp Mehran Ginger & Garlic Paste and 1 tbsp Mehran Fish Biryani Masala for 30 minutes.
  2. Heat oil, fry onions until they become golden. Take out half onion with half cup of oil and keep aside.
  3. In the remaining oil and onion add Mehran Ginger & Garlic Paste, Mehran Fish Biryani Masala, tomatoes and fry for 5 minutes, then add yogurt. Cook until gravy becomes thick then add marinated fish and cook for 6 – 7 minutes. Add green chilli and remove.
  4. . In a big pan add 1 tbsp oil, fry soya leaf for a minute then add 9 – 10 glasses of water with 2 tbsp full salt and boil. Then add soaked Mehran Basmati Rice, when more than half rice is cooked remove from heat and strain water.
  5. .  Now spread prepared masala on rice in two layers and on top spread the fried onion, remaining lemon juice and fresh coriander. Cover and cook on high heat for 3 minutes then lower the heat and cook for 15 minutes. When rice is done mix and serve.

Yogurt (Whipped) 1 ¼ cup
Mehran Ginger Paste 1 tbsp

Onion (Medium) 3 pcs (Sliced)
Tomato 3 pcs (Coarsely Chopped)
Lemon Juice 3 tbsp
Soya Leaf ¼ cup (Chopped)
Green Chilli 5 – 6 pcs
Green Coriander ¼ cup (Chopped)
Oil 1 – 1¼ cup / 200g – 250g
Mehran Fish Biryani Masala 1 packet – 50g
