Chicken Jalfrezi Masala

Serving Suggestion

“Serve hot chicken jalfrezi with boiled rice or plain noodles. Garnish with ginger julienne or green onions (optional).
Serving for 7 – 8 people. (1 packet 50g)”

Steps of cooking

  1. Dissolve Mehran Chicken Jalfrezi Masala in half a cup of water and dip the chicken cubes in the mixture, toss for coating and let it marinate for 35 minutes.
  2. Add 2 cups of water in a pan and boil tomatoes until they become soft. Strain to take out seeds and skin. Make puree and keep it aside.
  3. Heat oil/ghee, add marinated chicken and fry well for 5 – 7 minutes. Then add tomato puree and cook on low ame for 12 – 15 minutes until meat becomes tender.
  4. Add green chili, capsicum, onions, lemon juice, cook for 2 – 3 minutes and remove.
