Bukhari Rice Spices

Ingredients

Salt, Coriander, Cumin, Ginger, Cinnamon, Black Pepper, Green Cardamom, Dry Lemon, Fennel, Sugar, Garlic, Turmeric, Anti Caking Agent (Silicon Dioxide).

Mehran Basmati Sella (Par Boiled) Rice 750g (Washed and Soaked for 2½ hours)
Onion (Medium) 2 pcs (Sliced)
Mehran Garlic Paste 1 tbsp
Carrot 2 pcs (Peeled and cut into Matchsticks or Shredded)
Almond 2 tbsp (Roasted)
Cashew Nuts 2 tbsp (Roasted)
Raisins 2 tbsp
Tomato Paste 1 – 1½ tbsp
Oil / Melted Butter 1 cup / 200g
Mehran Bukhari Rice Spices 5 tbsp / 50g

Steps of Cooking

  1. Steps of Cooking
    1. Heat oil fry onion until light golden. Add Mehran Garlic Paste, tomato paste, Mehran Bukhari Rice Spices and further stir for 5 minutes.
    2. Now add 6 cups of water, and bring to boil. Add Mehran Basmati Sella Rice, cover tightly and cook on low heat until rice becomes tender.
    3. Separately take a pan, heat 3 tbsp butter and stir fry carrots, almond, raisin and cashew nuts for 2 – 3 minutes on high heat. Stir fry continuously for 2 minutes then remove from heat and set aside.
    4. Put rice in dish. Add fried carrots and mix nuts over the rice. Serve hot.

    Serving Suggestion

    Serve with raita and salad.

    Serving for 5 – 6 people. (5 tbsp / 50g)
