Steps of cooking
1 cup Mehran Rice
2 cups of water
1 table spoon oil
1 pinch of salt or as per taste
Soak the rice in water for about 90 – 120 minutes.
Rinse measured rice 1 – 2 times.
Place drained rice into a sauce-
Pan and add measured water, oil and salt.
Place saucepan uncovered over high heat and
bring to boil, stir occasionally.
Let water reduce slightly below the rice level and then lower
the heat. Place a tight lid on the saucepan and simmer for 5 – 6 minutes.
