Tandoori Masala

Ingredients

Salt, Paprika, Red Chilli, Papaya, Mustard, Acid (Citric Acid), Cumin, Mango Powder, Caraway, Carom, Green Cardamom, Ginger, Garlic, Black Pepper, Cinnamon, Muskmelon,Big Cardamom, Fennel, Arti cial Barbecue Flavouring, Anti Caking Agent (Silicon Dioxide)

Serving Suggestion

Serve with fresh salad, Mehran Chutney, onions, tomatoes and lemon. Serving for 6 - 8 people. (1 packet 50g)

Preparation Time

21/2 - 3 hours.

Steps of cooking

    1. Make cuts on each chicken piece.
    2. In a bowl, add lemon juice, Mehran Tandoori Masala, 2 tbsp of oil/ghee/butter, yogurt and apply evenly on all the chicken pieces. Keep aside and let it marinate for 2 hours.
    3. Put each piece on skewer or grill on low heat of coal/gas re. Apply oil/ghee/butter on each side and turn the skewer to heat evenly, until meat becomes tender.

OR

  1. Preheat oven to 180 °C, place the chicken in a tray. Apply oil/ghee/butter on each side. Grill for 40 – 45 minutes, until meat becomes tender.
  2. Remove from heat when it becomes light brown.
