Tikka Karahi 50g


“Salt, Red Chilli, Cumin, Ginger, Garlic, Coriander, Black Pepper, Onion, Papaya, Carom, Mango Powder, Turmeric, Acid (Citric Acid), Long Pepper, Bay Leaves, Big Cardamom, Cinnamon, Clove, Fennel”

Serving Suggestion

“Garnish with green coriander, ginger julienne and serve with naan, chapati and salad. Serving for 6 – 8 people. (1 packet 50g)”

Preparation Time

50 minutes for chicken, 1 – 2 hours for beef/mutton.

Steps of cooking

  1. Heat 1/2 cup oil, fry onions until they become light golden then add chicken, Mehran Ginger & Garlic Paste, Mehran Tikka Karahi Masala and fry for 2 -3 minutes. Now add 1 cup of water, cover and cook until meat becomes tender. (In case of mutton and beef add 3 – 4 cups of water).
  2. In another pan, heat the remaining oil/ghee, fry tomatoes until they become soft and until oil separates. Add tomatoes & yogurt in meat, cook for a few minutes then add green chilli, ginger julienne and cook for 5 minutes. Add lemon juice and remove.
  3. Burn a small piece of coal and place on a piece of foil in the pan, spread 1tsp oil on the coal, cover the dish and keep for 10 minutes. (Ensure the coal does not mix with the ingredients).
