Steps of cooking
- In a deep pot add 7 – 8 glasses of water, 2 tbsp of Mehran Garlic Paste, paya/trotter and boil for 10 – 15 minutes. Remove and drain the water.
- Heat 1/2 cup oil/ghee, saute 1 sliced onion. Add Mehran Ginger & Garlic Paste, fry further for 2 minutes. Now add Paya/Trotters and Mehran Paya Masala, fry for 3 – 4 minutes.
- Now add yogurt, mix well and cook for 5 minutes. Add 7 – 8 glasses of water, cover and cook on low heat for 4 – 5 hours until Paya / Trotters become tender.
- Heat remaining oil/ghee, add remaining sliced onion and fry until it becomes golden. Now add in paya, cover and cook on low heat for 30 minutes and remove.
