Steps of cooking
- Heat oil/ghee, fry onion until they become light golden. Then add chicken, Mehran Ginger and Garlic Paste and curry leaves. Fry for 8-10 minutes until chicken starts to turn light golden. To Enhance Taste:
* Mix pinch of Sa ron in 2-3 tbsp of milk and spread over
the rice in step no. 4. - Add Mehran Malay Chicken Biryani Masala, cucumber, green chilies, tamarind pulp and 2 cups of water. Bring to boil. Cover and cook on low heat for 10 minutes.
- In a separate pan add 8-9 glasses of water, 2-2 ½ tbsp of salt and boil. Then add soaked Mehran Basmati Rice, when more than half rice is
cooked remove from heat and strain water. - . In a dum pot, place half of the rice at the bottom pour 1 – 2 tbsp of oil/ghee. Then place the prepared chicken masala. Then layer the remaining rice on top. Cover and cook on low heat for 5-10 minutes.
When rice is done mix and serve.
