STEPS OF COOKING
Steps of Cooking:
- Heat oil fry onion until light golden. Add meat and fry for 1-2 minutes. Add Mehran Kabuli Rice Masala and further stir for few minutes.
- Now add 5 cups of water, orange juice and bring to boil. Cover and cook on low heat for 30 minutes. (For lamb/mutton cook for 45 min to 1 hour until meat becomes tender).
- Add rice and bring to boil and cover tightly and cook on low heat until rice becomes tender.
- Separately take a pan, heat 3 tbsp butter and stir fry carrots for 2-3 minutes on high flame then add sugar. Stir fry continuously for 2 minutes remove from heat and set aside.
- Put rice in dish and place cooked meat over it. Add fried carrots and mix nuts over the rice.
PREPARATION TIME:
- FOR CHICKEN: 50 minutes
- FOR BEEF/MUTTON: 1 ½ hour
