Fry/Karahi Gosht Masala Export

Ingredient

"Salt, Red Chilli, Cumin, Coriander, Black Pepper, Paprika, Ginger, Garlic, Papaya, Fenugreek, Onion, Turmeric, Carom, Acid (Citric Acid), Bay Leaves, Big Cardamom, Green Cardamom, Cinnamon, Clove"

Serving Suggestion

"Serve with salad, naan or chapati. Garnish with green coriander and ginger julienne. Serving for 6 - 8 people. (1 packet 50g)"

Preparation Time

30 minutes for chicken, 1 - 11/2 hours for beef/mutton

Steps of cooking

  1. Heat 1 cup of oil/ghee, fry onion until they become light brown. Add meat, cover and cook for 5 – 7 minutes. Add Mehran Ginger Paste and Garlic then fry for 2 minutes. Now add Mehran Fry/Karahi Gosht Masala and fry for another 4 – 5 minutes. Then add 1 cup of water, cover and cook until meat becomes tender.(For beef/mutton, add 3 – 4 cups of water).
  2. In another pan, heat the remaining oil/ghee, fry tomatoes until they become soft. When oil separates, add tomatoes to the meat, green chillies and ginger julienne. Cover and cook on low heat for a further 5 – 8 minutes. Add lemon juice and remove.
