Dum Qeema 50g


“Salt, Red Chilli, Ginger, Cumin, Caraway, Papaya, Cinnamon, Roasted Chickpeas, Clove, Big Cardamom, Acid (Citric Acid), Bay Leaves”

Serving Suggestion

“Serve with naan, chapati or puri paratha. Garnish with green chilli, mint, ginger julienne, lemon and round sliced onion. Serving for 6 – 8 people. (1 packet 50g)”

Preparation Time

4 hours.

Steps of cooking

  1. Heat oil/ghee, fry onions until they become golden. Take out onions, crush and keep aside.
  2. In a bowl add minced meat, papaya, Mehran Ginger & Garlic Paste, fried onions, yogurt, 2 tbsp oil and Mehran Dum Ka Qeema Masala. Mix well and let it marinate for 1 – 2 hours.
  3. In the same oil/ghee add marinated minced meat, mix well and cook on medium heat for 30 – 40 minutes until water dries and minced meat is cooked. Remove from heat.
  4. Burn a small piece of coal and place on a piece of foil in
    the pan, spread 1 tsp oil on the coal, cover and keep for 10 minutes. Mix and serve. (Ensure the coal does not mix with the ingredients).
