Chicken White Karahi Masala


“Salt, Cumin, Red Chilli, Coriander, Black Pepper, Ginger, Garlic, Mango Powder, Onion, Mustard, White Pepper, Acid (Citric Acid), Fenugreek, Papaya, Turmeric”

Serving Suggestion

“Garnish with ginger julienne and green coriander. Serve with naan or chapati. Serving for 6 – 8 people. (1 packet 45g)”

Preparation Time

50 minutes.

Steps of cooking

  1. Marinate chicken with yogurt, Mehran Ginger & Garlic Paste, nely chopped green chilli, lemon juice and Mehran Chicken White Karahi Masala. Mix well and keep aside for 25 – 30 minutes.
  2. Heat oil/ghee, fry onion for a minute then add the marinated chicken. Fry for 3 – 4 minutes and add 1/2 cup of water. Cover and cook on medium heat for 10 – 15 minutes.
  3. When meat becomes tender and oil separates add whole green chilli, ginger julienne and fresh cream. Mix well and cook on low heat for 2 – 3 minutes then add green coriander and remove. Add more lemon juice (if required).
