Steps of cooking
- Mix together yogurt, Mehran Beef/Mutton Biryani Masala, Mehran Ginger & Garlic Paste in a bowl. Now add Beef/Mutton, toss to coat it and let it marinate for 30 minutes.
- Heat oil/ghee, fry onions until they become golden. Take out 1 – 2 tbsp fried onions and keep aside. Then add marinated meat and fry for 10 minutes. Add 4 – 5 glasses of water cover and cook on low heat for 2 hours until meat becomes tender. Now cook on high heat until oil separates. Add Green Chillies and keep aside.
- In a separate pan, add 8 – 9 glasses of water, 2 ½ tbsp of
salt and boil. Then add soaked rice, when more than half rice is cooked, remove from heat and strain water.
- Now spread prepared Masala and green coriander on rice in two layers and on top spread brown onions and lemon juice. Cover and cooked on low heat for another 15 minutes until rice is done. Mix before serving.
