Steps of Cooking
Chicken - Mutton
1kg - 1 1/2kg
Onions (Finely Chopped)
4 - (250g - 300g)
2 table spoon / 40g
Ginger (Finely Chopped)
1 table spoon / 15g
1 cup / 200g
Oil / Ghee
200g - 250g
Mehran Chicken / Mutton Recipe Mix
In a deep pan heat oil and fry the onions till they turn light brown. Remove the onions and drain on an absorbent. When they cool, crush them and keep aside.
In the same oil, add the chicken / Mutton and fry well. Add chopped ginger, garlic and fry well until color changes.
Now add Mehran Chicken / Mutton Masala Recipe Mix and frey well . Mix yogurt and the fried crisp onions. Stir contantly for 10 minutes until the spices are well cooked and oil starts to separate from the mass.
Add 1 cup of water for a smoother gravy and cook for an additional 15minutes.
Serve with hot crisp Naan, Roti, or taftan.
Serve for 6-8 persons.
45 minutes for chicken, 1 1/2 hrs for Mutton.
